Ghost of Tsushima Release Date Reportedly Bumped Following The Last of Us Part II Delay
Nosotros oasis't seen or heard much of Sony and Sucker Punch'southward open-world samurai game Ghost of Tsushima in some time. A short gameplay demo was shown at E3 2022, but, of class, Sony skipped E3 2022 and hasn't given us a new look at the game at any events since. Well, don't expect to be hacking and slashing any time soon – per Jason Schreier, who broke the news that The Last of United states Function 2 was being delayed before today, Ghost of Tsushima has also been pushed back.
Ghost of Tsushima has never had a solid release date, but, co-ordinate to Schreier, the game was originally slated to come out in the first half of 2022. Now, in response to the TLOU2 delay, Ghost of Tsushima will be coming out in belatedly 2022. It isn't entirely clear if this is just a scheduling matter, or if Tsushima could utilize some more polish, merely I'm sure Sucker Punch doesn't mind the actress evolution time.
BTW, Ghost of Tsushima doesn't have a public release date yet, only it'll also exist bumped afterwards into 2022 to account for this filibuster. Don't wait them to suddenly plow it into a PS5 game or anything, but information technology was originally planned for the beginning half of the yr - not anymore

Information technology'southward interesting that Schreier notes Ghost of Tsushima won't be turning into a PS5 game, considering following this delay its release will probably overlap with Sony's new console. At this point, it seems pretty unlikely it won't at least exist a cross-gen release – perhaps Sucker Dial will be spending their extra half dozen months preparing a PS5 port?
